REQUEST FOR FUNDING
The Mission of the IGS Foundation is “To support educational initiatives able to provide an understanding, and promote the appropriate use, of geosynthetic technology throughout the world for the benefit of humanity”. The Foundation supports both the (exceptional) activities of the IGS and provides funding and support to IGS chapters, other organizations and individuals that are working in support of this mission.
If you have a request and proposal, please submit it to the IGS Foundation (admin@TheIGSFoundation.com ) and the Board of Trustees will evaluate the request and reply. A brief outline of the information needed to complete an evaluation is listed below:
Please prepare and upload a brief (one page maximum) description, in WORD format, of the work product to be funded. This should include the following sections:
Who is asking: Name, Organizational affiliation, physical address, email address, phone.
What is the request: A one paragraph overview including the amount of funds requested.
When and where will this work occur: Dates/places/events, etc.
A list of the deliverables/outcomes of the work product:
When and how will those deliverables will be tracked and reported:
Your submission will be acknowledged and reviewed at the following Foundation Board of Trustees meeting. A decision will be returned to you at that time.
