IGS Foundation Recognition
The IGS Foundation would like to recognize our donors. The Foundation accepts contributions from all sources. Of particular note and import are our initial Founding Donors most of whom come from within the geosynthetics industry. The IGS and the Foundation appreciate the contributions of these individuals and companies and will use the resources donated to us with good stewardship and full effect.
The Foundation has a structured recognition program with donor levels being the Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum categories and levels. Each contribution is valued and helps to advance the geosynthetics industry.
Our current donor slate is listed below and we thank the contributors for their support. If you are considering making a donation, please take a moment to review our contribution solicitation page and program.

Benefits of donating
Periodicity of Donations:
Donations are welcomed at any time and in any amount, but it is expected to have two groups of donations based on their periodicity, as follows:
- Impromptu (one-time)
- Yearly (Donors make an initial donation, but pledge annual support/giving)
Types and Timing of Recognition:
Recognition of the donors will be made by the IGS Foundation and the IGS considering different venues and timing. The different types of recognition, according to the venue of the recognition is proposed as follows:
- List in the IGS Foundation Website
- Yearly IGS Foundation Report:
- Written report
- Video Posting
- List of donors:
- IGS News publication
- IGS website listing in addition to the IGS Foundation listing
- Recognition in IGS Conferences – Tier 2 Regional conferences:
- Corporate Receptions
- Banner and/or digital recognition placement(s)
- Recognition in IGS Conferences – Tier 1 Regional conferences and the International Conference on Geosynthetics:
- Opening Ceremonies recognition
- General Assembly recognition
- Focused article within both the IGS News and IGS website
- Breaking News Article and postings
The timing of the recognition of different donors will follow receipt of the donation and will include both recognition during the year of the donation and repeated recognition actions for repeat /multiple donors.
Founding Donors:
Existing/current donors and all donors whose contributions are received by December 31, 2021 will be designated as “Founding” donors of the respective level. i.e. an existing $5,000 donor is a “Founding Silver donor”, a donation of $5,000 received on January 1, 2022 would instead be a “Silver Donor”.
To make a contribution (>USD $1,000) , please contact a Foundation Board of Trustees’ member, or use the contact form linked here, or email to Admin@TheIGSFoundation.com If you are unable to make a larger contribution, ( for smaller donation amounts) we would welcome you to participate in the IGS Benefactors program linked here:
